Here's a few pictures of our amazing weekend!
We enjoyed the beautiful scenery down at Zumbro Bottoms Horse Camp, where you have trails ranging from deep sand tracks to steep rocky hillside climbs where you can overlook some amazing views. The weather was perfect and the bugs were almost non-existent.
We were actually able to get down to the river to get our horses a drink, and cool off feet as this year has been so dry. The banks of the river do drop off tho, so be careful! Our puppy companion overstepped and disappeared out of view, requiring a rescue from us and our extra lead ropes. Fire-weed lines the bank of most of the river, so be warned~ rescue attempts will be met with some uncomfortable after effects.
We made sure to stop and take group photos and give our horses a rest.....
and try something crazy..........
Also took a lunch, grabbed a drink and Goofed around!
and stretch our legs......
We sure had a great time!
Made some new friends and put on many, many miles! Hope you can join us next time!
